I have and will continue to have a place in my heart for Nintendo. In fact, my first console was a Super Nintendo. The video game market has changed drastically since the early '90s and it seems like what once was platinum is more so along the lines of silver now. Nintendo has always been...

loved the lens flares.

This one, I agree, felt a bit bloated, but I still loved it!

That's the word I was looking for, bloated. The movie was bloated. Thank you.

And yes, still loved it, but definitely not on the same level as the first. Although there were a couple things I did more.

And as Lethean said, I was joking about the lens flares. Although they don't bother me at all like most. There were a couple scenes where the lens flares were so bad you could barely see what was going on, I chuckled a bit there. I had to remove my 3D glasses to see if this was real life or just reflection on my glasses.

4/5

I really enjoyed Oblivion. It was a little bittersweet. Loved the score.

If people are mad about the new Klingon looks then I'd shuttered what would happen if they see the new Chewbacca. So both Star Wars and Star Trek are being directed by J.J. Abrams with rumors of him going to be the director of the Mass Effect movie? Like a sci-fi monopoly. Maybe someone should stop the guy...

Lens flares would be appropriate in a Mass Effect movie.

And come on: a new look for Chewbacca? There are some things you shouldn't change.

Again, thanks to Paradox's surprise gift to me. I'm going on The Avengers spree. Bought The Incredible Hulk, Thor, Captain America and The Avengers.

I watched Jack Reacher tonight....It was an OK action movie. The final action sequence was a little silly for some top notch investigator though.

But I'd have to say Rosamund Pike's cleavage was the star of the movie.

Star Trek: Into Darkness, for a second time. I really liked that movie. Never liked Star Trek until the new movies, it's given me a new appreciation for the franchise.

It's like Uncharted, in space.

Yeah I found that movie to remind me of the crime thrillers of the mid-90s. You know, with Ashley Judd in a couple, Morgan Freeman in some more. The ones with the cheesy dialogue. Except this was worse because of the character Jack Reacher. He had no flaws, no weaknesses. He was just too over the top. And at the end when Tom Cruise was talking about drinking blood from the guys boot I wanted to laugh because I couldn't tell if his character was joking or trying to sound threatening. Oh and it was overly long.

3 out of 5.

Up until the last 15 minutes it was good and then it just turned slightly to shit. Why they had to show the ghost is beyond me. Why they had to make it like every supernatural horror film to come out in the past 15 or so years makes me even more irritated by the end.

4 out of 5
Entertaining, witty, coherent and loud. It took me a while to adjust to the fact that this was Tony Stark as Iron Man, not Iron Man as Tony Stark which was really fitting given the issues his character was struggling with. Shane Black brought a nice touch to the film as well.

5 out of 5

Loved everything about this film. The fact that they got a Tribble reference in there probably bumped this up to a 5. Zoe Saldana and Alive Eve were absolutely stunning and of course did a great job. Benedict Cumberbatch stole the show which was expected. The action was loud, the explosions were big and the film had heart. Glad they didn't lead into what could have been a rehash with a twist of another Trek film from the original film series.

Now you see me.

2.5/5

Not worth the review.
A fun date movie, but if you dont want to be upset about the money you spent see something else.

Haha, you can just tell it's one of those movies that's inoffensive and therefore safe.

EDIT: *Insert The Avengers film poster here*
Great movie, specially toward the end. The teaming together is what really got me. I give this an unknown rating.
SPOILER. Okay, I've seen this floating around after Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D was announced. People believe Agent Phil Coulson is dead. I mean really, were they not paying attention The Avengers? Nick Fury pulls out Captain America's vintage card set and said a inspirational speech about Phil Coulson carrying them with him when he died. Then that one agent said he grabbed those cards from his locker. He's not dead.

Agents of SHIELD is pre-Avengers.

Yeah it is stupid. It trivializes the whole "inspiration" that the Avengers needed. Which was already pretty dumb the more you thought about it, but still.

Coulson is a great character though, and Gregg is a great TV actor, so I see why they are doing it.
