I KNOW I'M THE ONLY PERSON STILL LEFT PLAYING THIS GAME, but here's a picture of my barb. Found my second 250$ item, this one is actually worth more, unfortunately it's useful for my char and I'm addicted to using it now.
I think my barb is probably worth at least 1-1500$ in items now.
I get accused daily of being an RMAH whore. Really wish using the RMAH was like a feat of strength or something so you could prove you don't use it.
If you have bad gear you're a noob if it's good you use RMAH. Can't win!

| Actually just finished killing Inferno Diablo with my Wizard and am now moving on to Barb. How do you play one? Not being able to kite everything makes me uncomfortable : ). |

blizzard is fucking embarrassing. at least the Diablo 3 team... they're so done, flawless track record is officially extremely broken, reputation out the window.
people hate the game and continue to drop like flies, Blizzard didn't say ANYTHING to the community for an entire 3 weeks, no blue posts on the forums, no update, blogs, anything. complete silence.
they literally took Diablo 2, made shiny new graphics, and removed EVERYTHING that made Diablo 2 fun.
i believe their intention was to strip it down, so they could release the shit people used to love in expansion packs. and expected people to stick around with the CRAP that they released at launch until then.
they were wrong, and now they're fucked.
Activision ruined Blizzard, don't care what anyone says.
/end rant, done with Diablo 3. finally had to come to terms with the fact it's a complete failure.

no reason not to enjoy it, it's not a BAD game. it's just SO far from Diablo 2's quality that it shouldn't be called Diablo. it's still a great game.
just lacks the atmosphere, competition, loot, story, replay value, pvp, ladder, community feeling, fun events, etc. that Diablo 2 had.
i blame most of the failure on RMAH and GAH, if there wasn't an auction house it'd have a lot more replay value. problem is you can get such badass gear so fast with the auction houses, that it suddenly feels like good loot NEVER drops, but that's not the case. it was just a lot harder to gear up in Diablo 2 because acquiring that perfect piece of loot for your character was 100x harder because searching it in an AH wasn't possible.

E3 2013 has been very silent for me. There's tons of media, but most of it buzzes past my ears without them catching the important keyword that my ears are fine tuned to receive: "PC" or "Personal Computer". Microsoft, Sony, EA and Ubisoft have all shown their cards...
