yea im downloading a digital copy now just in case as well.. people were complaining about it being slow, i was worried if I decided not to go to the launch I wouldnt have it downloaded in time for 3AM... it's downloading at a steady 4.5MB/S though, gonna be done in no time. so dunno what they're on about.
(girlfriend needs a copy too but isnt playing for two weeks)
time to go nap.
then launch then groceries then nap

If you have a bnet account you can download a trial too. Lets you play through lvl 14 I think and through the first main boss. |

That's essentially what the open beta was. And if that's true, then these things are about as useful as the World of Warcraft guest pass that also came with the game.

THe game is amazing... 10x what I even thought it would be. I love it.. SOOO many things to asplode.
and the bosses are so much fun and so epic
can't wait to play it on a higher difficulty.

any game, any release, has someone who has datamined, prepared, has a team of people helping them cheese their way through.
doesn't mean much.
it took me about 7-8 hours to beat it on normal, if i really took time to listen it'd take 10-15 i imagine, and explore everything.
if you really wanted to rush and don't suck could probably be done in 5-7 on normal.
nightmare alone the difficulty REALLY steps up.
Diablo 3 starts at level 60. I wanna see how long it takes people to clear inferno.
THAT will be the real test.
edit: oh wow that link is only for someone who cleared normal lol.. everyone cleared normal faster than 12 hours...
not many games are longer than 12 hours.. Athenewins is already level 60 though.
funnily enough my barbarian is sitting at 12 hours 33 minutes right now, 4 minutes off that guy, and i'm almost done act 1 nightmare, and have sat afk for at least 1-2 hours.

ok well not many non RPG's/Asian games.
that's the way Diablo always has been. short, but insane replay value.
and I can confirm nightmare is a HUGE step up in difficulty. very fun. some very challenging packs.
