Goooooooooood morning Tropico! The sun is shining bright and everything's peachy as usual on our little island paradise.
Well, except for the group of rebels who are trying to overthrow El Presidente and everything he stands for. While El Presidente would usually just have them all shot, no one seems to know who they are! So instead, he has locked himself in his palace and ordered the populace to weed them out. Since Tropico is a democratic nation, those chosen to be executed will be done democratically! Note that since this is an order from El Presidente himself, lynching is mandatory each day. On top of that, a curfew is enacted, and no one is allowed to communicate with each other about the game during the night.
But enough about that, let's talk about the people!
The Brave, Tropican Nationalists!
This is the backbone of our Tropican economy. These guys lives are to wake up, work, siesta, and not die. Unfortunately, the rebels are making that last part a bit of a challenge. This is the majority of the population, totaling 9 people.
La Policia
Proud owners of the only computer on the island which everyone uses, the police are able to hack into the emails of everyone on the island and determine whether or not they're a rebel threat. But, being the police, they can only do something once a night before getting tired and taking a nap. There are two police.
El Doctor
The only clinic left on the island not made a base for the secret police, the Doctor runs a medicinal program and a house call system. This means that each night, he creepily follows someone home just in case there is an accident. What was once a strange quirk has become very useful, as this is when the rebels strike. But that doesn't mean El Presidente is going to lift the restraining orders on him.
The Rebels
Organized. Unionized. Militarized. These anarchists have been trying to turn the whole nation into rebels for some time now. However, since no one cares about them, they decided it would be easier just to kill everyone. The Rebel's goals are to get the number of citizens equal to theirs, through any means necessary.

GOOOOOOOOD MORNING TROPICO! The sun is shining bright, and it's a great day to celebrate democracy.
And now for the news. Last night, tragedy struck our little island! A farmer on his way home from working in the sugar fields was found hanging upside down in the rafters of the rum distillery. He was found early this morning with every drop of blood taken from his body. No suspects as of yet, but El Presidente seems to believe that it's the cause of the nefarious rebels who set fire to three guard stations and poisoned his favorite palm tree. A statue has currently been commissioned for the palm tree, as well as others to frighten the rebels into attacking less important parts of Tropico.
In other news, the new Tropican Red Rum has already gained a large demand overseas. Though it only cropped up this morning, El Presidente claims that the secret ingredient is the love all Tropican's hold in their heart for our great nation.

I was telling the truth last time and I'm telling the truth about my role now. If Ugh is a townie then we have Rainemaida to thank, so he'll be our next lynch. If he's a townie then you all can lynch me and see that I'm a townie too.
@NickKmet: It's true that a blind lynch is never a GREAT idea, but we lose more people when we're not direct. This game doesn't have all the extra crazy killer roles. They can only off one of us a night. We can only kill one a day. We have the numbers to stir the pot, get some rebels revealing themselves, all while the doctor is protecting and the cops are scanning. |
