My favorite part from that forum thread..."lol nvidia has released beta drivers for their 4-6 series nvidia cards because TSW is the first game to employ a new kind of complex shader model. "

I'm not a troll. My entire review is just my thoughts and experiences with the game, and if you look at the comments I don't push any buttons. I'd like to think that I'm not like Sterling at all.

I was browsing that thread on their forum, and, wow. They can't even get the name of GR right. My favorite post was from some employee/mod stating that the game has been getting great reviews by some of the most important publications in the industry! One look at metacritic assures me that that really isn't the case, considering that none of the biggies have reviews posted yet. The best part was when he called the other people posting in the thread ambassadors for the game. Seriously, if that's what people who play the game are like, well, I'll never be trying that game, ever.
Basically the most pathetic attempt to flame a review I've ever seen. I'm glad you guys stayed classy.

It wouldn't surprise me. Same with the user reviews on metacritic. The only problem for them is, no matter how much they inflate their review scores, people aren't going to get past the trying out the game stage if it sucks. And from what I can tell, it's not anything exceptional for an MMO, meaning shelling out a monthly subscription just isn't worth it anymore. If there are F2P MMOs that are equally as good, why would you pay a subscription fee at all?

I will say this: my review might be one of the lower ratings on Metacritic but after another 1-2 weeks people are going to understand. I've been playing MMOs for over a decade and I can sniff out one that has no lasting value when I play it. Seriously, this flood of disagreement is going to turn around sooner than you can believe.

Also, fanatics of MMO's are usually more defensive than normal fanboys, due to the whole "monthly fee" thing. At least for the monthly fee ones. F2P ones are another story.
