Did you guys get into the dungeon yesterday? Or was it bugged the entire evening?
I love the story quests so far. Lots of exp and some nice drops. The AI of your companions could use some work though. |

Think I may have found the answer to my problem...
I still haven't heard back from support yet so I went back to searching around for answers and came across one board where the poster said they had the freezing problem in GW1 and it happened to them in the beta for GW2 and said he fixed it by underclocking the core and memory of his video card by 150-200. (it was also an nvida)
So I fired up my Asus SmartDoctor and did the same and I'll be goddamned if it doesn't seem like it did the trick. Played for over 2 hours with no crash in sight. I'm crossing my fingers that this is really the fix for now. I'll test more later tonight. In any case, since it seems like I can actually play the game now, if you guys still got the guild thing going, feel free to invite me: Mirado.7682 |

So, I'm in the Flame Temple Tombs in Diessa Plateau (at least I think that's where it's located) and I destroy this statue and pick up the head. Then I go into another room and launch the head with a mortar and break the ground in front of me. I'm thinking, wow, pretty cool. I wonder what else is in this mini-dungeon. I start exploring, find a weird room with flame spewing statues, blue fire torches, all of which was under water. I'm like "OK, this sword has got to do something."

Champion guy works us over and I get pissed off. All that just for the three randoms not to rez? WTF.
Then I get into Guild chat and Dave (Nick's room mate) says he'll help me out. We get side tracked waiting for the cow launcher to activate, but whatever it doesn't work so we head to the portal that takes us to the Tombs dungeon. The portal is closed. There's an event going on and we can't get through.
FUCK.
Back to the cow-launcher, still doesn't work. By the time we get there the portal is back open. OK, teleport. Do all the shit. Group with two other people and then another random asura joins us. We're going to fuck this champion up.
Not quite true. Underwater combat in an enclosed space is a total bitch, but I kept rezing everyone, stealthing, kiting, the champ glitches into the ceiling and we just keep wailing on him until finally he dies. Check the champ and he drops a white.... just a plain hammer.
Well there's a chest near where he spawned. That better have some good loot.... Nope. Nothing. Literally three hours of my life running this little half-assed dungeon, killing this asshole champ, wasting Dave's time, saying that we were going to get some good shit from all this trouble.
And of course I could have been completing the map the entire time instead of wasting it for a Hammer. Btw, did you know that no one is ordering Hammers on the Trading Post? I do now!
Fuck.

Think of how much you grew as a person due to this experience...
I need to level so I can run with the crowd. At 11 or so, tried to WvW but got tired of waiting in the queue. Also, I couldn't figure out how to see the guild member's levels, is there a way? Need some silent social pressure... |

You should just stick with it or else you'll be caught in a vicious cycle of rerolling and never hitting 80.
Every class has its moments of boredom, but they always come from your build not being cohesive.
