Undead Lab's zombie-infested action title has finally hit XBLA. Is it worth a few of your precious Microsoft Points, or should you whack it over the head with a two-by-four and continue on your merry way?

E3: PC or rather about the lack of it
By Starling

E3 2013 has been very silent for me. There's tons of media, but most of it buzzes past my ears without them catching the important keyword that my ears are fine tuned to receive: "PC" or "Personal Computer". Microsoft, Sony, EA and Ubisoft have all shown their cards...

It was something that just came out of nowhere, and City of Heroes was a really good game.

A sad trend with developers, it seems.

This is one of the few MMOs that I've spent more than 1 hr watching someone else play. Sad.

Wow, you mean a company actually died without EA being involved?
That's pretty damn rare.

Cities of heroes was... just fun. Sure it was a MMORPG and you still had to "grind". But it was something that no other MMORPG could do at a time: Being different. It wasn't about getting gears or trying to build a successful guild and form huge raids, it was about trying to be a powerful individual, trying to be a abnormal person in a cities of normal joe. And to the very last day, that game succeeded... but not as a business.

Farewell Paragon. I'll never forget my batman/punisher knock off. And i won't forget how you actually published comics with some of the MVP of the times fighting off in either the name of justice or for plain villainy with all the support of your community.

Now watch DC online rip off everything they did.

You mean they hadn't already done that?

http://pvponline.com/news/save-city-of-heroes
Scott Kurtz from the webcomic PVP is asking for his fan to sign the petition to keep the servers alive or at least extend the remaining server days. I signed it cause I kinda want to play this game one more moth before its inevitable end.

I did my part, will you, heroes?

Edit: added the poster, we got 18000 signatures, we need 6000 more

I haven't played City of Heroes in a long time but it was actually pretty fun, for an MMO anyway. I'm a bit sad to see this game go, but I'll sign that petition.

That video above was so fucking awesome.

Maybe we will be lucky and CoH will find life after NC Soft. Otherwise champions online gets the monopoly on things and...that is not good, suffice to say.
