Your GPU alone almost costs as much as my entire rig.

Very nice. I have been interested in using that case for a portable lan build I could take to my girlfriend's house. She has more space for VR.
All the other lan cases with handles have reviews that they are very flimsy. Is this one sturdy?

I have two 980s and I would like to commend you on making the correct choice over a 970.

Good job dude.
Can we get pics of internals? Maybe a vid with audio of fans while gaming?

Oh god, miniITX. How bad was it with the corsair?
Personally i would've (and did) gone with 2x2tb and RAID'd them rather than using a single 4tb, but then again if you've got 240gb of SSD you can throw the most used stuff on there and just have a relatively slow archive for movies and stuff.

I still feel a little guilty about splurging as much as I did...but I've waited long enough, and I think it'll be future proof for at least a couple of years.

Nope! Loving the ten-keyless, gives you that little bit of extra space on the desk and really nice for transporting to LANs and what not.

Yeah I thought about getting 2 HDDs, but even though there is a dedicated slot for a second HDD, it's still extremely tight to fit it in with all the cabling and what not. Installing the Corsair was also pretty tricky, though it looks really cool once it's in place.

Extremely sturdy, feels like a rock. The handle is great for moving it between places, and I often bring it downstairs to play it on the big screen. And yeah, after the whole 970 3.5GB non-sense I pretty much had my sights set on the 980, no regrets.

I'll get some additional pics + video up later today, which is great bc. The Witcher 3 came out.

Sweet - next video or pictures send us a shot of the guts so we can see your shitty cord management. And where the fans for your CPU cooler are mounted. Also, how heavy is it?

Lol, we'll see if I can be bothered to make another video Razz

As for weight, I'd say it weighs somewhere in the 20 to 30 pound range--the case itself is surprisingly light, most of the bulk comes from the PSU, GPU, and CPU cooler.

I've been playing Dying Light and Witcher 3, both with maxed out settings, here's a video I recorded of the Dying Light gameplay https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zX5ptcfxBlM

I've thought about getting GTA V, but I already have a PS4 version. That being said...those mods look pretty amazing. I guess I can wait until it goes on sale. Smile

What rig are you rocking?

My bad, it's the CM Storm QuickFire Rapid, the mouse is a 2013 DeathAdder...I'm pretty much married to those peripherals, can't imagine using anything else at this point.

Keep going. Red, blue, black, browns?

I'm pretty much addicted to mechanicals. I have a Filco, a Ducky, and a Das, one brown one blue and one red. I think reds are my favorite.

Browns! Yeah, it's true what they say about mechanical keyboards, you really can't go back to membrane! I really like the slightly quieter and bumpier feel of the brown switches, though reds are a close second. Blues are way too loud and sound annoying after a while, something I would get frustrated with because I play a lot (a lot, a lot) of StarCraft II.

If I manage to somehow save up money again (this build took a nice chunk out of my bank account), I would consider getting one of those completely blank DAS keyboards, they look amazing and they're great for playing pranks on people.

Is it cluttered in there? Im really curious about how the cooling unit is getting along with the rest of the components.
