| Has anyone from GR got to try ZombieU yet? I don't remember seeing much on it here but from what I've seen of it so far it looks pretty awesome. |

I'm getting a Wii U. The whole tablet controller thing does interest me and some of the games look pretty cool, like ZombiU.
I'm sure that's just going to make me rage like I did in Dark Souls though. |

I'm definitely interested to see where the system ends up. I still feel like there are a ton of possibilities with the touch screen, despite years and years of DS games. _________________

Nintendo has done a really terrible job at marketing the WiiU. Most people don't even know what it is. Hell, even I thought at first it was an add-on kind of like the Sega CD or 32X. _________________

| A lot of people still think its an add-on controller for the Wii. Not good. |

I didn't know what it was either LOL
A serious conversion I had at work with a co-worker who is also a gamer.
Me: What is WiiU exactly ?
Co-Worker: It's a handheld Wii.
Me: Like the DS?
Co-Worker: Yes, it is the new handheld but it only plays Wii games, i think. _________________ Life is not a predetermined path but a branch of many choices that make us who we are. |

So nobody has played it yet? I'd like some feedback if I'm going to get one. _________________ Life is not a predetermined path but a branch of many choices that make us who we are. |

So, you don't exactly need a Wii for it? _________________

It's a completely new console.
The Wii controller (with Motion Plus required) can be used with the WiiU but otherwise it is all new.
If they had called it the Wii 2, I don't think they would be having this confusion. |

The problem is that they're dealing with the same casual audience that they introduced to console gaming. They need to introduce them better to the concept of a new console generation too, I guess. _________________

Got a few hours of play with it.
I got to try
Project 1000 or whatever it is called now
Nintendo land? I don't remember what it is called you had a different mini game based on what nintendo universe you are in. Ie. Zelda had a co-op rail shooting and slashing, Luigi had a ghost hide and seek sort of thing.
That Zombie game.
Sorry if I'm killing the naming of what games they are I'm a bit tired.
Anyways, I can tell you the tablet is really light. Extremely light and the controllers are fairly decent the only problem I had is with the R1 and L1 buttons. I can't get used it for some reason, I kept forgetting it existed. It probally has to do with the size of the controller it's not big at all but I don't know I think with more experience with it I'll grow on me. Also the touch screen is pretty sensitive . I really didn't have ny problem with it aside from the camera. The way they had it set up was not ment for tall people.
<.< I'll add and edit this later on when I get some rest. |

I meant the demo stage. But if you actually had it just have it a good distance away and have space. If you lived in a cramped area then well your fucked. |

Um... how so Noritama? What did you need a whole lot of room for? I played a bunch last week and everything was sitting down. _________________

We were all standing up during ours. When I was playing ZombiU. I had trouble adjusting my height to read correctly with the game. Ie. When you use your camera to see certain things ingame through your Tablet.
Like I said at home it shouldn't be a problem. |
