Extensive Gameplay video:

Also, the Golden Wiimote that comes with the Special Edition, already has WiiMotion Plus in it:

Really stoked for this game, the guy in this video talks about how huge the game is. It looks beautiful, and WiiMotion Plus 1:1 feature will be great!

Skyward Sword is definitely one of the games I might buy a Wii again for... they're certainly cheap enough now.

Yes, Twilight was too bleak. This game's color is amazing.

Re: TP being bleak...
What was up with the digital looking black clouds in that game? Who thought that was a good decision?

It's not on the Wii U, so it was a stupid decision made by them.

And it will look ugly when run through a decent sized TV, with the wiimote controls being horrible.

Much more excited about the possibility of MM coming to 3DS.

Amen. I would love to see another cell-shaded game tbh. Windwaker was fantastic.

So i've checked out more pictures and videos, and it's still gonna look average, but i was wrong to worry because this time they've fixed TPs problem. There won't be too much clutter and it won't be too dark to see anything.

Should be good. Still not happy it's going on the original Wii, though. I hate motion controls.

Definitely not buying a Wii U. Getting this shit for Wii - gonna have to dust off the ol' 'chuks.

I just want it to be challenging, it would actually be nice if they had difficulty settings.

Don't worry, guys. Madster's nearly onboard.

I agree that the Wii is stupid and I never play mine and motion controls are stupid and all console graphics ever are sh*t compared to your amazing PC, but this is fucking new Zelda. Nothing can be bad about that.

Also, they just announced that they're featuring weapon/gadget upgrading for the first time. I'm eager to see how that works. Perhaps there will now be more than one solution to dungeon puzzles, instead of having to backtrack once you gain a new ability.

Couldn't you upgrade a sword in one of the other ones, anyway?

Say what you will about Nintendo, but when a new Zelda game comes out everyone's happy.

No. Sure in every Zelda you'll get new swords, shields, etc., but no actual upgrading. Upgrading like shown in the video I posted hasn't been done before.

You could in Majora's Mask, sort of.

You pay the guy 100 rupees and he upgrades it to the razor sword, which is temporary, then if you give him the gold dust he gives you the gilded sword.

As far as Skyward Sword goes, I'm just hoping it isn't OoT again, like TP was. And considering OoT is just ALTTP, yeesh. I also hope it isn't shitty, like the DS ones were.

Awesome. I'm so stoked on this game. I'm hoping that Gold Wiimote isn't exclusive to a certain country
