Undead Lab's zombie-infested action title has finally hit XBLA. Is it worth a few of your precious Microsoft Points, or should you whack it over the head with a two-by-four and continue on your merry way?

E3: PC or rather about the lack of it
By Starling

E3 2013 has been very silent for me. There's tons of media, but most of it buzzes past my ears without them catching the important keyword that my ears are fine tuned to receive: "PC" or "Personal Computer". Microsoft, Sony, EA and Ubisoft have all shown their cards...

So the launch 60 gb, YLOD'ed on me again. So here's the dilemna. At this point in the process, do I just take them up on their trade in offer for a slim (which is also a little cheaper) or repair it again...full well knowing that it's going to break again?

How much can I sell it on eBay for? Goes off to check...

Or should I take a gamble on a local repair guy?

Yeah, what I'm finding is that motion controls are fun for about 10 mins for them...what they really like is messing up my iPad.

Hmmmmm

Ok, I'll pitch the idea.
I think switching it in for the slimmer model is the better choice. I haven't had any problems with mine, and you said your slimmer one runs fine so maybe it's for best. Although I do feel your pain on losing the backwards compatibly

1. Do you have a PS2?

2. Do you have any PS2 data on your PS3 that you would prefer not to lose?

3. I like trains.

I swear, my slim is dying a horribly painful death. Loading times are skyrocketing. X-COM runs like absolute shit and I've heard no complaints every where else.

I'm guessing it's dust. I'm about to crack this thing open.

Your PS3 only hates you Dan because you never played Heavy Rain.

I don't own a PS2 anymore, but that's easily fixed.

Why do you assume it's going to break again?

My 60gb had it's drive replaced in late 09 / early 10. It currently plays every game perfectly and even in australian summers (30-40 degrees) it doesn't get too hot.

Presumably, yours was repaired before? Who did it?

Also like to point out at this stage that 60gb are worth more than slim models.
