There's no reason at all for region lock in this day and age. The PS3 is entirely region unlocked and a good 50% of the games on the 360 are unlocked, too. The DS was region unlocked for years until Nintendo decided to derp again and lock the DSi (protip: this is the reason i still have a lite).
Nintendo can go fuck themselves as far as i'm concerned, i'll not be buying their products until they're either region unlocked or someone develops a cart/softmod to get around it. I'll be damned if i'll wait another 2 bloody months after the american release for a pokemon game. I still have an american copy of Diamond sitting in my lite, and i finished it TWICE before nintendo deigned to release it in Aus for $10 more than i paid for it, even with postage.
ZombiU US: $55

I don't know about that. I haven't had any problem with the battery life. Maybe because I'm not playing for five hours at a time, but I always just put it back on the dock when I'm done.

I don't know about that. I haven't had any problem with the battery life. Maybe because I'm not playing for five hours at a time, but I always just put it back on the dock when I'm done. |

My couch is about 5 feet from my TV and I have the chord running underneath the TV stand to the coffee table where the gamepad doc is. I forgot that you live in a mansion and have a 200" TV that you sit 20 feet from.

The Wii U is finally out today here in Australia. I'll be picking mine up after work. Hell, I went to the gym on my lunch break so I wouldn't have to go after work. How sad is that?
Once I get the Wii U - I'll be playing Hitman: Absolution until the Wii U downloads its Goddamn 5GB update... |

took forever to get the game pad to talk to the console
downloading ANYTHING is taking forever. You'd think with no eithernet port they'd make this thing a bit more robust... but I'm looking forward to it.

They broadcasted their last event (This morning) on a Wii U, and I made a stink about not being able to find one b/c its sold out so they sent it. Now that the event is over... now we play the waiting game..

I wonder if you'll actually have to send it back, or if they'll be too preoccupied trying to hire those big cat mining trucks to move their piles of money around.
So disappointed with Nintendo. I had a play of ZombiU the other day and it's pretty awesome. Would totally buy one if they were region free.
What power adapter do they use? It it an internal PSU or a power brick? Because if i could buy a US one and just import all my games i still might go for one when they start popping up used.
