Aw yeah son! PS4 is gonna kick the nextgen xbox 720 times and then walk the fuck out the door. Next Xbox has nothing on PS4.
Streaming games? Pffft, not a chance.
Kinect? Yeah nothanks.
A new controller? they might have that but still
Next Xbox is probably gonna be one of the lame ass last-gen VISIBLE consoles. Get on PS4's level and don't even come to your own party.

I think we have to see what the xbox hardware can do.
I have a funny delusional thought in my head. Imagine if the xbox had faster hardware. And rant he same games but at high fps. Imagine that they also allowed pc gamers to play with xbox gamers if they had xbox live. Imagine if those new xbox games also worked on your pc if you had windows 8.
Plenty of ideas I can think of how microsoft could win but it would require them to actually innovate and no I dont mean this "Share button revolution"
Oh yeah and neither should block used games.
The good news is the ps4 has high end hardware and ran at 1080p. dx11. particle physics. tessellation. and I even saw ambient occlusion in the new killzone.

Almost bought a PC the other night since my HDD died on my xbox slim. Was SO close.
edit: my point being, I'm not likely to participate in next gen consoles. Not until the price drops several years after the fact or I find a mega deal like a subsidized cost at a contracted subscription or something. |

An i7-920, 4gb DDR3 and a HD6850 would run you, what, $350 these days? Shop around and for under $400 you could put it all in a case with a PSU and a 320gb HDD.
So for less than the next gen consoles are going to cost, you can have DX11 1080p@60FPS and 4K support, full backwards capability (From old 80s DOS games to Gran Turismo 4 and Wind Waker), modding support (macho dragon mod) and the best online, for free. (Vent and private servers)
And let's not forget the most important part - the ability to be playing a game in 1 window with porn running in the other.
Oh, also, Steam sales. So none of this $40-60 game shit, try $10-20.
