Don't know if anyone's played this game. It's a single player Space Sim with economy. Like a lot of the Space Sims for PC only easy to pickup being on a controller. If you've ever wanted to get into a space sim, but the keyboard is too much for you then this is the game for you. Earn your money by being good or bad. Either hunt bounty's, trade, be a mercenary for hire, or go for the bad side of things. Kill indiscriminately, smuggle illegal goods.

I think the game came out in 2010 for consoles, but was released for pc in 2006, so it's a bit old, but still fun. I've never really played too much of any other space sims, but I guess a few of the usual things are there. Like diverting your power to your shields, ability to divert power from your front shields to back, or vice a versa. Have multiple weapons on your ship, turrets, and missiles.

It's pretty simplistic, and is more geared toward action, and the dogfights. I haven't put that many hours in yet, but it's said to be kind of repetitive. I'm enjoying it so far. For only 12 bucks I'm pretty satisfied though.

Also I haven't checked it out yet, but Project Sylpheed is another space sim for the 360 I found out about after getting this game. The graphics look a lot better if you don't like the looks of this game.

I saw "DarkStar One: Broken Alliance" listed on XBL before, but I wasn't too sure what it was about.

I also remember I personally couldn't get into "Project Sylpheed" when it first came out.

I honestly can't find that quote on our site anywhere lol. Maybe the preview or whatever got deleted.
