I just made over a million bells the other day by selling turnips. Bought 3100 turnips for 92, sold for 335, boom 700k profit.

Wow, awesome. I need you to come to my village so we can best-friend up. I've been trying to play the turnip market but had no luck with sell prices past few weeks.

Grinding for bells isn't exactly the best way to play the game

You're right. It's just gets boring to do the daily chores when you know all the things the game has to offer and how long it will take to get to that point. It starts to feel like life..

I wake up too late on Sundays to catch the turnip pig and I ain't no time traveler. Gotta leave the stock business to the early birds.

WOOOOOO

The big bug off is here tomorrow! Who's going to play? Post a screen of your 1st place finish! Or you know, if you lose too, you could show us that.

Good luck everyone!

Secured the first place with a birdwing butterfly that I catched from the beach. Tried to go for maximum profit by feeding lesser bugs at Nat, but the bug rating system is so screwed.

Still managed to get a lemon table and a stag chair.

I recon there's no way to upload screenshots straight from the 3ds? That would be a good use for the browser.

Woo, first time playing it and having a good time.
I found this Butterfly and I'm first place atm with 75 points. Smile
Is this bug off only once per month?

Found a better butterfly for 89 points, got a cicada stereo!

Not once a month, certain number of times a year. Here's a complete list of events:

Wow alot of events, thats awesome!
At the beginning of this game when you haven't ever played AC before your like, meh nothing much to do in this game but when you stick with it you discover that there's so much! Its just plain fun, nothing more then that.

I'm glad everyone's enjoying the game as much as I am. It's a great series but this game is miles ahead of any previous entry.

Oh well, time for a trip to the island.
EDIT: Oh, Nat has one. Cool.

My birdwing was only 118. Size matters, indeed. Don't forget your turnips this morning, folks!
