Windows 10 Review for Dummies

After all these years, and growing up with Windows 3.1, I have seen an entire evolution of computers and software. Touch screens and large resolutions were a pipe dream just 15 years ago. Now it's the norm. Going from a Packard Bell (yes, before HP) that couldn't run 3D Ultra Mini...

It's basically a refined version of The Scourge Project: Episodes 1 & 2. At first glance, it looks like a Gears knock-off. Which it may or may not play like, I wouldn't know. It's not available on PS3 yet. It is available on 360 however and after reading what I read, you might feel a little bad for them and hope they'll stay afloat.

I planned to purchase the game anyways, because it fills a empty space in pretty much every PS3 gamers' catalog. A squad based, cover shooter......that isn't Ghost Recon. A 7 hour campaign and multiplayer doesn't sound bad for $10, and the fact that it's 4 player co-op automatically made it a must-buy for me.

We must be up-front and admit that TSP hit the (virtual) shelves in a state less polished than we would have liked. As gamers ourselves, we know what it’s like to play something that feels like it would have benefited from more time in development. We were a small and, at the time, relatively inexperienced team trying to compete against some very, very heavy hitters in the shooter genre who have teams much larger than ours. There was a lot of pressure on us finish the game and get it out as quickly as possible, so the truth is that we struggled to meet the high expectations of shooter fans with the time and resources at our disposal. Nobody felt this disappointment as deeply as we did.

They didn't do a kickstarter or beg for your money, they knew they released something shitty and decided to fix it. I can appreciate that. They even have a pdf with a full list of changes, it's not just a console port.
