I am a PS3 owner and someday hope to be a PS4 owner, yet I am not at all dissatisfied with my choice to delay purchase, solely based on the current PS4 library. When I transitioned from a Playstation 1 to a Playstation 2, I was pleasantly surprised that I could for the most part rid myself of my PS1...

Yes, just like how your noise canceling headphones plays a noise canceling sound of your surroundings. This cpu cooler has a fan in the middle and two speakers that play the noise canceling sound of the fan.

I love cool new tech.

Noise cancelling speakers for the fan, eh? Neat tech but can I change the noise cancelling sound? Let's say, I want them to make PC louder with some... Dubstep or death metal to annoy neighbors, the heavier the load on CPU, the louder it gets! ;D

Why, though?
For huge TDP CPUs or...?

Because my 2500k could run passively with my current cooler, even at 4.5ghz, and not thermal. Don't noctua already do a bunch of extremely silent fans?
