I did this search a week ago, and at the time, out of the top 20 bestsellers on Amazon 10 had not even been released yet. By now some have been released. But others still have not. And yet others...

I brought the universe sandbox. A space simulation for $4? I couldn't pass that up. I'm also tempted to buy mars: war logs, but that low metascore is keeping me away.

Picked up Universe Sandbox for $2 when it won the Community Vote. Looks pretty neat and something nice to fiddle around with.

Right now the New Vegas ultimate edition is only 5 bucks. So I'd HIGHLY recommend that.

One of the best deals so far.

Grab it, pick up the community patch, lose significant chunks of your free time.

yeah, such a good deal. Also Kerbal Space Program is 40% off. So many hours lost to that.

Picked up the Borderlands 2 Season Pass. Was a little pissed because I thought it included all DLC, but apparently class packs are not covered.

I started with the Mr. Torgue DLC and so far it's been pretty fun and Macho Man Mr. Torgue is pretty hilarious. So I haven't even touched the other 3 dlc yet and I'm already enjoying myself.

All in all, well worth the $10.

Should I abandon my hopes of Skyrim Legendary under $20 and jump on Witcher 2 for $5?

For anyone else, I'd say of course, since it's easily the better game. But it's also pretty hard. So it may be too hard for you Dan.

Seriously, though, yes.

Have you played through New Vegas yet?

Buggy piece of shit PS3 version, I'm never going back to that game.... Unless it comes with all the DLC....

So yes on Witcher? If one more person says yes and I actually get back to the sale before it ends, I'll buy.

I'm still holding out for the Skyrim DLC to be cheaper myself. It probably won't happen, but I'll continue to be a cheap bastard until it finally does someday.

Fuuuu
New Vegas is in the cart, guess I'll just go with Witcher 2 while I'm at it since Skyrim + DLC definitely won't fall below $20. I think I did the right thing going with a single Steam card instead of my CC this year. I played nothing from last year.

I'll say yes then. Go buy it and report back how it is.

As for myself I just picked up Torchlight II for $5, woohoo!

All bethesda games are buggy pieces of shit.
Trick is to avoid the console versions, and community patch the PC ones.

Doom 3, Portal 2, Sim City 4, GTA IV, Arkham City so far.

I think I'm going to be into WoW again right up until the next X-Pac, which means another 6 months or so after it's released. So my best guess is it will be at least 1.5 years before I actually play any of these games.

So far I've picked up Hotline Miami, Hitman Absolution. Tomb Raider. I picked up Arkham City from Amazon on sale. I have it for the PS3 but wanted to play it at 1440. It's such a nice looking game.

Sins of a Solar Empire finally went to 75% off, so I'm gonna pick that up even though it's still 10 bucks.

Also, Max Payne 1 and 2 are for sale for 4 bucks total. So that's nice.

I should have paid my rent with this week's paycheck instead of two weeks ago. Seems all great deals start first. Would really like GTA IV just for the mods, but I'm broke Crying or Very sad
