After all these years, and growing up with Windows 3.1, I have seen an entire evolution of computers and software. Touch screens and large resolutions were a pipe dream just 15 years ago. Now it's the norm. Going from a Packard Bell (yes, before HP) that couldn't run 3D Ultra Mini...

I know this news surfaced a couple of months ago but honestly I haven't seen any discussion of it here so I thought I'd make this topic.

Quote:
co-lead designer Anthony Newman confirmed during a livestream of the Uncharted 4 E3 2015 demo. Newman said that, to make "the game we wanted to make, to make the best game possible," the framerate had to be cut to 30

In what I am sure is completely unrelated news, Uncharted 4 will give Drake chest hair that blows in the wind. I say unrelated because when has individually moving strands of hair ever impact framerate? Amirite guys?

Yeah....

I would say this game would be buggy, but in The Last of Us: Remastered you can switch from a locked 30FPS to an unlocked maxed 60FPS game. However, it was clear The Last of Us didn't have a stready frame-rate for 60FPS. I'm okay with this decision. I rather have something running smoothly than constant frame drops.

Eh, who really cares.

Let the consoles enjoy their 900p30fps, the rest of will be moving on to 4K@120.
Maybe the PS6 can join us in 2030.

Honestly, I love Uncharted for the gameplay and the story, I'll live with 30 FPS but Ibet if they got rid of stupid things like moving chest hair it would improve the average FPS.

I was kinda hoping Uncharted 4 would be 60FPS, but I can live with 30.

Still, moving chest hair? What?

They're still aiming multiplayer for 60FPS, which why?

Multiplayer probably won't have moving chest hair.
