D4 Review
Just another game about a time-traveling detective who deflects knives by spitting bubblegum at them as they fly through the air at full speed. Yep, just another game...

Anybody familiar with or have read these? Just found out the games were based off the books or at least themes and characters from the universe. I thoroughly enjoy The Witcher 2 and will likely buy 1 at some point down the road. Are the books and games good tie-ins to eachother?

The book series is its own thing, but a lot of the stuff that happens in the games is related straight from the books. For example, the idea of the village wanting to keep a troll around to maintain the bridge was mentioned in The Last Wish.

Only two of them have been translated yet, but they're definitely worth reading.
