A Means to Disseminate Honest-to-God Leaks
By oblivion437

Wikileaks, though technically not a wiki, provides an easy means to disseminate information that some find it desirable to share against the wishes of those who find it desirable to keep secret. Aside from the morality of the leaking itself, such a service provides a look into the activities of...

Anyone playing this game? I'm on the fence about whether to take the plunge and just get it.
So how is it so far? Lets hear some info.

I've heard it's good, but there are major MAJOR server issues right now.

I would hold off for a while until that gets sorted out.

Yeah, I had been hearing similar things but was hoping they weren't quite as severe as people were saying. Looks like I'll wait about 2-3 weeks (maybe more) until they get things stabilized.

Every cool new mmorpg I think "this will be the one I try!" First Guild Wars 2, now this, EQ next.

I doubt I'll ever try one. Maybe when the next gen consoles support them.

FFXiv sure does look great though...

Aren't you getting a PS4, used? I feel like you've said that somewhere....

Anyway if you do, you can play DC Universe on there with Jx4.

They're not for everyone, but I've been playing them for so long it's kind of like second nature to me. I've always had a thing for them I guess.

Started out with EQ back in 98/99 then DAoC, WoW, Warhammer, LoTRO, Rift, SWTOR, and GW2.

It's not a huge list compared to the number of mmorpgs that have come out over the years but I've stayed with each one (with the exception of the disaster that was warhammer) for at least a year if not more. I played EQ for five years and in the case of WoW, I've been playing (with some months off here and there) since 2004.

I learned from Warhammer Online to never run out and buy a mmo on launch day but I'm surprised FF14 is still having so much technical trouble. It usually takes a mmo about a week to iron out most of the most serious issues with their game but it looks like FF14 will take a little more time.

Then again, if it doesn't work out, there is always ESO to look forward to.
