I Don't Want to, but I Have To...

Hey MattAY, I'm pretty sure Super Smash Bros. for the Wii U comes out in December shortly before Christmas, while the 3Ds version is out in October I believe?

Start a donation campaign. Say you want to make potato salad. You'll have it in no time!

afaik, Nintendo has called the release date for the wiiU one "Holidays 2014". So start gettting festive!

Just don't make one here http://fund-a-gamer.com/ If you do make one, reward people with art or something. My friend Ryan has created one. He makes it sound like he's unemployed, but he has never worked in his life. He also isn't rewarding anything.

Just read about the Potato Salad Kickstarter. Wow, that's just crazy.

That better be one BOSS potato salad!

Fund-a-gamer sounds awesome, Ugh. I might sign up to it. Smile ... maybe. Razz

If I end up getting the Mario Kart bundle, what type of controller should I pick up for a second player?

If you don't already have a Wiimote and Nunchuk, get those and make sure the Wii mote is a Wii Motion Plus controller (most of them are right out of the box now, no need to get the additional plug in like you had to at launch). That'll allow you to play all the other Wii games too.

If you want to get *another* controller, I'd get a Wii U pro controller to get as near to the GamePad controls without the screen, though I don't have one myself.

I'm sorry to ask, but I don't know...
Anyways, does a regular old nunchaku work with the Wii Motion Plus controller. Are those the only accessories I would need for Wii games?

Yes. And that will also serve as a second controller setup for multiplayer, though you may want to pick up a Wii U Pro controller eventually.

Of course man. You can use old or new nunchaku and plug it into the Wii Motion Plus controller. It'll work. The nunchaku they sell today are exactly the same as the ones they sold in the past, just different packaging. The Wii Motion Plus stuff only applies to the remote.

Most Wii games will require a nunchaku to play. Some Wii games (very few) you can get away with just the remote.
