Finally Broke My Crowdfunding Rule
By oblivion437
Posted on 01/12/15
I've had a long-standing rule to avoid getting involved in any sort of crowdfunded activities.  I didn't donate to Shadowrun or Wasteland, but I did buy and enjoy both of them (I'm plugging both of those games right now, just so you know they're good).  I haven't...

If I hypothetically were to take advantage of the $10 Playstation Store sale, would you recommend the God of War Collection on Vita or the Sly Cooper Collection?

If you've never played God of War go for that one since it was the best exclusive on PS2.

God of War is a fun beat-em-up type game. Pretty simple as far as that genre goes, but fun.

Sly Cooper games are great platformers. So either way is great.

I dunno, God of War?

For some reason I thought God of War Collection had three or four games, but I guess it's just 1 and 2. That's dumb.

Well fuck that then.

Although 2 is the best game. But still.

The original God of War 1 & 2 or the first two handheld versions? Chains of Olympus and whatever that other one was?

Yeah God of War 1 and 2. I would have expected the PSP titles also, or maybe even a version of 3.

That's weird. My God of War saga collection came with GoW, GoW 2, and GoW 3. Then again, I'm talking PS3. I never play the Sly Cooper games. GoW gets repetitive at times.

I actually enjoyed Sly Cooper, but you will likely breeze right through the entire collection. I was able to platinum Sly 1 in one day.

That is pretty dumb but IMO part 3 is the worst of the series, although it obviously looks amazing since it's a PS3 game. The first God of War game is the best of the series and could have been a stand alone game. Because it was such a hit they had to do a sequel, which was impressive, but they dropped the ball with the third one.

I've never played the PSP games, so I can't comment on those, but I would get the "collection" just for God of War 1 and 2 since they were that good.

Nah. It was a good game, but God of War 2 is basically everything God of War was and more. It was fucking great.
