Here's what one of the Nintendo's investors had to say at the company's annual shareholders meeting.

"I do not understand video games and I even feel angry because, at Nintendo’s shareholders’ meetings, the shareholders always discuss things relating to video games or such childish topics as 'what the future of video games should be.

"While I, for one, was flabbergasted that Mr. Iwata continues to hold his position although he had said that he would resign if the company’s performance were bad."

Are you happy that Satoru Iwata is still CEO and president of Nintendo?

Can't say I'm happy or upset. I'm neutral. Nintendo has and always will be for "kids." Maybe it's time to regenerate and become a kid again?

That guy's in the wrong business.

It seems to me that this investor should stop going to meetings, regardless of who Nintendo's president is.

And yes, Iwata's time is done.

Didn't Iwata's approval rating raise a couple percent at the last investor call?

That's such a ridiculous comment, and I'm not sure why he's a shareholder or even going to meetings...

I don't have problems with Iwata, but I also don't work with/under him. I'm not sure what the structure of the company is like in practice. Maybe this is a matter of timing, as well -- seems a bit sucky to let a guy go after the positive news starts surfacing.

I agree. Very silly thing of that investor to say. Saying things like that? He's obviously in the wrong business.

As for Iwata... eh, I got no problem with him. I just want Nintendo to keep doing what they're doing, and that's rising.
