All 32 NFL teams officially have overall stats in Madden NFL 18. With this, you can decide which team to main this season.

The top 5 rated teams are as follows:

1. New England Patriots – 93 overall, 88 defense, 92 offense
2. Atlanta Falcons – 91 overall, 80 defense, 89 offense
3. Dallas Cowboys – 89 overall, 83 defense, 88 offense
4. Pittsburgh Steelers – 88 overall, 84 defense, 89 offense
5. Green Bay Packers – 88 overall, 81 defense, 90 offense

Don’t get too caught up in these ratings, though. Sometimes the stats are inflated by great players in lower impact positions. Also, the metagame of Madden NFL 18 doesn’t necessarily reward high stats alone, and instead relies on a team having a strong style of play that is difficult for the A.I. or other players to deal with.

That said, the New England Patriots are very strong this year, with by far the best overall stats, and an epic quarterback.
