There are so many beasts to hunt, capture, and even fish in this latest installment in this monster hunting franchise from Capcom. One of the fishes you can catch is the Monster Hunter World Gunpowder Fish. The Gunpowder Fish is a tricky little bugger that at some point you will be tasked with catching by the Piscine Researcher.
Of course, being that this is a task from the Piscine Researcher like the Platinum Fish we recently covered, catching the Monster Hunter World Gunpowder Fish is easier said than done. Though the actual task of completing the bounty is pretty easy to accomplish, it can be difficult to find the Gunpowder Fish.
Where to Catch the Monster Hunter World Gunpowder Fish
The Monster Hunter World Gunpowder Fish is somewhat hard to find considering that it is only available for catching in really one specific area in the game. There are some other areas you can find and catch it, but those are troublesome at best. The best place to catch this fish is in the Coral Highlands as you'd expect.
Specifically, you want to go to area seven of the Coral Highlands to the little pond that is located underneath the nest of the Raptor. Monster Hunter World Gunpowder Fish are red in appearance and there is an abundance of these fish in this small body of water, so catching one shouldn't be too much of an issue there.
If you need help getting to area seven of the Coral Highlands to catch the Monster Hunter World Gunpowder Fish, we recommend taking a right from the first area just outside of the first camp and you can get to seven easily. Good luck!
