Harmonix is no stranger to being at the top of the music and rhythm genre. Rock Band 3 would have easily won the category if the developer didn't outdo themselves again with their revolutionary Kinect title Dance Central. In what likely started as just a tech demo of whether the Kinect could track limbs, the title has changed the way we think about dance games - that is, actually dancing rather them stepping on arrowed squares. By using a system that circumvents the lag of tracking limbs, the player's timing to the choreography is put at the forefront. It completely owns the Just Dance franchise for the Wii in precision and technique. Dance is finally fun again in video games.
