FEATURED VOXPOP oblivion437     In all the talk of graphical downgrades no one seems much preoccupied with 'why?'.  Why build something and then proceed to tear it down, piece by piece, in the hope that ever more diminished expectations about the final product won't be severe enough to...

2010 GR Awards: Most Wanted in 2011

Posted on Thursday, December 23 @ 14:21:26 Eastern by Blake_Morse

The sequel that fans have been waiting a decade for will finally be released this coming February, and we here at the GR compound couldn't be more giddy about it. Yes, we are like little schoolgirls with the latest issue of Tiger Beat, only instead of talking about how dreamy the Jonas Bros. are, we're arguing over who's going to kick whose butt more shamefully in the arena. My money is on me and Deadpool taking out Nick and Wesker in no time flat. [As if I would ever pick Wesker... ~Ed.]

The plethora of new faces like She-Hulk, Viewtiful Joe, X-23, and Amaterasu are bound to please new and old school players alike. Marvel vs. Capcom 3 is looking like it will keep fans satiated for some time, but that doesn't mean we're going to wait another 10 years for MvC4. And we're definitely not going to accept a money-hungry "Super" version of MvC3 the game in 2012 over DLC this time either.

Runners-Up (in alphabetical order) - Batman: Arkham City, Gears of War 3, Portal 2, The Last Guardian
