DAILY MANIFESTOA Call For Mail Is An Excuse To Give Away SwagPosted on Wednesday, September 26 @ 17:11:24 Eastern by Daniel Bischoff
![]() I'm leaving the United States this weekend for an event overseas. That's why I needed my passport. Of course, I'm not yet willing to say where I'm headed, though I'm sure I'll get bored and post lots of goodies over at the @Game_Revolution twitter feed. The day I went to the Passport Agency in San Francisco was also the day I last mailed out swag. Unfortunately, I have a lot of stuff that remains unclaimed. That said, I've forgotten where I'm supposed to send it all. That means I'm ready to just hand it out. We record the 50th episode of GameRevolution Radio tomorrow and we have nothing in the mailbag. Leave something here: a memory, a favorite moment, episode, reason for listening, or just a question about video games. I'll send something to everyone when we answer their question on the air. Don't forget to rate your fellow commenters! It'll obviously weigh in on our question choices! Comments

After 3 years, I was finally able to find the PAL-exclusive Ratchet & Clank: A Crack In Time Collector's Edition & All 4 One Special Edition (both an English & Spanish version). These 3 totalled over $300 & I say that's money well spent! :)

Personally, I'd go with the open world RPG for the exploration and the freedom to do just about anything I want.

In yet another year of the sequels, what one built on the first one the most? (Guild Wars 2, Borderlands 2, Torchlight 2, Darksiders 2, Max Payne 3, Diablo 3... I'm sure there's at least 10 more). In my opinion Guild Wars 2, though pretty much everything on this list was awesome. They just stuck very closely to their predecessors, Guild Wars 2 pushed its limits the most.

With the rise of more ambitious zombie titles like the upcoming ZombiU, and excellent zombie narratives like The Walking Dead ep. 1, 2, & 3, where do you think the video game zombie is headed? Is there much more room for innovation, or is the success of the zombie going to be dependent on simply blending elements of what has already been done into a "total package" zombie game?

Is everyone ready for a new console? I just got my PS3 two years ago and think there is still plenty of time left on its life. My vote is to hold off on a new console until at least 2015. Thats is only two years away with probably some of the greatest games headed for launch. GTA 5, BioShock 3, MGS5......

So, new question, what the greatest item you guys found when moving from the old office to the new location? I still remember Dan using an Xbox to break an Xbox.

Chrono Trigger is easily rated one of the best games of our time with it's excellent plot, music and character development with a very easy to use combat system. There have been many attempts to bring this beloved game to the current generation (such as resurrection and CTR) but they are all met with a C&D and must halt production.
My question is this : Why are game developers such as Square Enix sending out letters and halting efforts to recreate one of their best games if they have no desire (overt or otherwise) to do it themselves? What can we do as gamers to help?
