A Fine Day Out At Capcom

Posted on Friday, March 14 @ 20:15:10 Eastern by Duke_Ferris
People really seemed to enjoy Insomniac's virtual tour of their offices, so when we spent the day over at Capcom earlier this week, we thought we'd do the same thing. Minus the music and the talent.

The so called "Digital Day" was mostly to show off a bunch of Xbox Live Arcade games, mostly remakes of their old classics: 1942, Commandos 3, Bionic Commando, and, of course, Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix. Another game, Plunder, really stood out as the most original, and Lost Planet: Colonies (their Platinum value title) was the only in-a-box retail game.

But enough of that, on with the tour!

Every game studio needs a big wall logo to let you know you're in the right place. Google maps FTW!

Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix had a very long name and only Ken and Ryu were playable.

I discover I am totally able to point in an Xxtreme manner like a commando.

Playing some Plunder, a quirky piratey RTS. Yarrrrrrrrr!

Lunch break. Yummy sandwiches and cookies, but where is the beer? Noooooooooooo!

Our Heroes recover from the lack of beer in Capcom's massage chairs.

IGN has given them a retarded award. IGN sucks.

Capcom remains unembarrassed by the Street Fighter Movie.

Giant LEGO Lost Planet man is embarrassed by the Street Fighter Movie.

Very, very creepy Mega Man attacks Chris Hudak and we are driven from the building.
