Adventures In Comic Con 2010 Issue #2: Flynn's Arcade

One of Comic Con 2010's highlights wasn't even happening at the Con. About six blocks away Disney set up an honest to god arcade complete with Space Paranoids and air hockey to help promote the upcoming TRON: Legacy film and TRON: Evolution game. I though you guys might enjoy a look around what a real arcade looks like.

TRON is serious stuff, so they rented an entire friggin building and turned it into Flynn's Arcade


All the high scores read "FLN" on most of the games


Yes children, TRON was a real game


I totally whooped my assistant's ass at air hockey. Although she did score the first five points...But all that matters is who scores the last one.


All the machines were set on freeplay, so folks were having a blast.


Why is no one playing Ms. Pac-Man? Because they took one look at my high score and knew they could never beat it and had to just walk away.


After some games, it was time to get digitized


The pixelation process is very similar to walking down a long corridor...

But then we were in TRON-land!


Lookit me ma! I'm glowing!
