Aussies Should Not Complain About Video Game Prices

Posted on Monday, July 18 @ 12:27:07 Eastern by

Not only that but apparently in Brazil, video games are considered "gambling entertainment devices" and got LOTS of restriction that puts Australian to shame (like a 3 day approval for a mature game). And according to my online Brazilian friend in wow, Piracy is REALLY rampant there because of that... So yeah... Why are we complaining about prices and piracy here?

Luckily I'm the maintenance, therefore I don't "flip burgers" to make my ends meet.

pretty sure brazillian console games are over 100USD because they are taxed as a toy whereas pc games are 50-60USD because they are taxed as software
