Modern warfare shooters are a dime-a-dozen, so why not jump behind the “wheel” of a ten-ton behemoth and incorporate strategy to decimate the enemy?

DAILY MANIFESTO

Awesome Portal Covers

Posted on Tuesday, January 22 @ 00:17:35 PST by Duke_Ferris
Well, I'm out today with a cold. Also It's Martin Luther King day, so it's technically a holiday anyway. It has, however, given me a chance to ride all the elevators in Mass Effect.

The Daily Manifesto, on the other hand, is daily, so I logged in from home to post.

Portal is one of those games that shows you that games are (no question about it) a fledgeling art form. It was genuinely funny, like a book or a movie can be funny. Not because it was an expensive rehash of a funny pre-existing piece of media (Harvey Birdman, I'm looking at you), but because it was self-funny in the way a human is self-aware.

I only bring this up because GameSetWatch has compiled a bunch of great remakes of the ending song from Portal, and it made me smile and laugh even as I was blowing my nose and sneezing. So without further ado, I present you with a link.
