Bad Dog, New Tricks

Posted on Wednesday, April 11 @ 19:28:04 Eastern by Duke_Ferris
If you haven't seen it yet, check out this video of Uncharted. There might finally be a reason to buy a PS3.

I saw a bunch of Sierra games yesterday that I'm not allowed to write about yet, but I think I can get away with saying that one of them was a new Crash Bandicoot game. I only mention it now because it made me wonder what my pals at Naughty Dog, the original developers of Crash were up to these days.

Turns out they're up to something very cool with Uncharted: Drake's Fortune. The motion capture on the main character is just amazing. If the gameplay looks half that good, I'll be impressed, and I love the fact that you play as a regular guy and not some 'roid pumped super soldier or huge-breasted Playboy model with guns. Naughty Dog is owned by Sony, so this will definitely be PS3-only.

Sorry for the lack of video controls, this was the only way I could figure out to stream the hi-res movie. To restart, just refresh the page.
