Battlefield 3 Beta Costs $53 Million Dollars on 360

Posted on Thursday, September 29 @ 08:40:52 Eastern by

We know this is only a mistake, but if we don't point it out, then who's going to learn from it? Users are reporting that the Battlefield 3 beta, which is supposed to be free, is requiring an exorbitant amount of Microsoft Points to download. 4,294,967,295 points to be exact, or over $53 million dollars of real money.

If you check now, it's fixed. But Microsoft couldn't get to it before screens were grabbed, and lulz could be had.

I'm going to give the full run-down of my trip on the podcast. Make sure to tune in!

seems a tad over priced. I understand they want to really show the true cost of war, but I mean, come on.
