Battlefield 3 Gameplay Teaser

There is no doubt -- Call of Duty is the reigning king of shooters. Each annual installment breaks sales records and almost instantly becomes the preferred online multiplayer game for hardcore shooter fanatics.

Every other publisher is gunning for Call of Duty's crown. But none more than EA. Having released a modern Medal of Honor reboot last year to mixed reviews, EA wasn't able to make COD regroup and respawn.

However, EA isn't done yet. Using their Medal of Honor and Battlefield franchises as a one, two punch, the publisher hopes to eventually dethrone the king. And if this Battlefield 3 teaser trailer is anything to go by, EA might just have the ammunition needed to do so.
