Best And Worst Tattoo At The Same Time

Posted on Thursday, May 1 @ 18:50:54 Eastern by Duke_Ferris

Or at least one of the funniest. Used to be that hardly anyone had tattoos, these days I'm in the minority (at least around here) by being 100% ink free. I just never found the inspiration, the moment of epiphany, to get a tattoo - whereas this guy found it in an unlikely place.

So there's a skit from The Whitest Kids You Know that's where a drunk guy gets a tattoo of Bowser in sunglasses, riding a surfboard, playing a double guitar, in front of a pot leaf, on top of a cross, with the message "Happy Birthday Rick".

Pretty funny skit, but comedy gold? Only when some guy went out and got the tattoo. That's either divine inspiration or blind stupidity.

Skit and picture below.

Let me get this straight. This isn't joke? I could almost kind of possibly understand if it were from a classic SNL or Kids in the Hall skit. What the heck is Whitest Kids You Know?

I'd want a tattoo of something pornographic just in case some kids saw it. Technical note; Mario Brothers 2 didn't have Bowser. You had that stupid vegetable-allergic toad. :-: P.S. His arm is twiglet.

** Not because I want to expose kids to something like that, but because I'd want to be doing something illegal and/or offensive by not doing anything at all.

Brian Rowe: Whitest Kids You Know is a sketch comedy TV show, with the video being one of their many skits. The guy in the photo is a fan of the show who decided to get the tattoo that was described in the video.

Also, Whitest Kids You Know has Ryan Reynolds (hes the tattoo artist in this skit). I bet that guy regrets getting that tattoo

I have to say that is a pretty sweet tat. But I think My Sonic the Hedgehog with a tamborine, on a skateboard, in front of a heart, with headphones on in front of the Star of David that says "Welcome to Paradise" is slightly better.

Epic. Tattoos for the sake of being funny, are better than serious tattoos. It just goes to show you that some people are okay not taking themselves as seriously as other people.

... wait a minute... Something bugs me in that picture. If he's taking that picture with his own camera, that would mean it's in a mirror. If it's a in a mirror, would the image (including "Happy Birthday Rick") be flipped over? Unless I'm totally missing something here.

And I just realized it's more than likely another camera taking the picture, but the other guy's camera just happens to be in the shot.

No, Mel Brooks is a comedic genius. John Cleese, Eric Idle, and the rest of the Monty Python group are comedic geniuses. The Whitest Kids U Know is, while occasionally funny, not something I'd call truly brilliant. Anybody could come up with an idea like that, or an idea like a woman mistaking her boyfriend's ipod for a pregnancy test stick. That was bound to happen someday.

I personally prefer Eddy Izzard, Jimmy Carr, Adam Hills (go on, look him up if you don't know him), Mitch Hedberg, and John Oliver. Those guys have me in bleeding STITCHES. Dylan Moran is pretty good too.

Monty Python is extremely over-rated. Whitest Kids You Know is just extremely...Gay.
