Blind Gamer Terry Garrett Needs Your Help to Beat the Water Temple

Posted on Wednesday, November 2 @ 03:14:21 Eastern by

Game Revolution has been following the epic exploits of blind gamer Terry Garrett, also known as MegaTgarrett on YouTube, who has resolved himself to finish The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time indepenently without having anyone else help him by taking the controller and playing it for him.

At this point, with the help of the save states from an N64 emulator, he's been able to complete the Deku Tree, Dodongo's Cavern, Jabu-Jabu's Belly, Forest Temple, Fire Temple, Ice Cavern, and everything in between.

That alone would have been one of the "best gaming achievements ever", but he's not stopping now. He's going to complete the dreaded Water Temple. He's already gotten all the way through the iconic Dark Link fight, which you can watch in the video above, but now he needs help getting through the whirlpool area without help. Help him if you can, or at the very least, cheer from the sidelines in awe, please.

Cheers...even though I still can't fathom why he chose to play THAT game.
