DAILY MANIFESTO

Bragging Wrights

Posted on Tuesday, July 25 @ 20:06:03 Eastern by Ben_Silverman
I’m usually not one for showing off the wealth of bizarre game shwag that pours into the office, but I am one for showing this.

Being an official judge for the E3 Game Critics Awards has its perks, none of which are perkier than this one-of-a-kind Spore statue built by EA’s amazing 3D modeling printer/magic portal of geek joy. From Will Wright’s mind into my quivering editor’s hand, give or take about two months.

And by “one-of-a-kind,” I mean, literally, one-of-a-kind. This is an exact clay replica of the goofy little Shrek-ish nightmare I personally cobbled together in my ten minutes of glory tinkering with the game’s creature creator. You won't find another one like it anywhere...other than Ebay in about three minutes. Ha! I kid because I love.
