Capcom Teams Up With EA For Resident Evil Party

Posted on Thursday, May 12 @ 11:04:38 Eastern by Blake_Morse

Capcom is collaborating with EA! No, they're not making a Street Fighter vs. Madden game or anything like that. And it's actually not even the EA you're thinking of. It's an airsoft pellet gun shooting gallery bar in Tokyo, Japan called "EA", which is just a really poor translation of the word "air". I can see how that could be confusing though.

They're teaming up to turn the bar into a S.T.A.R.S headquarters in celebration of Resident Evil's 15th anniversary. Folks who are lucky enough to live in Tokyo will be able to imbibe special drink concoctions such as the "Three Herb Cocktail" while shooting specially made zombie targets. They'll also get a chance to check out the latest in RE swag and take a look at a special 15th anniversary video.

Chock this up as another reason I really need to visit Japan.

Envious! Japan always has the coolest ideas and innovations. Dubai has Ice Bar; Japan has Zombie Bar. Which sounds more enticing?
