Community Playdate: The Simpsons Arcade On PS3
Posted on Wednesday, February 8 @ 13:27:47 Eastern by Daniel Bischoff
This landed yesterday, for free for PS+ users, and I know that it only supports four players, but that's about all we get in these playdates anyways (except didn't we get 8 in the Red Dead Redemption playdate?)
Anyways, I'm looking for people to play with, so what say you? I can't make a time this week (I have a funeral to attend on Friday) so how about next week, Monday? If that time doesn't work for you but you want to play, please suggest another day next week.
Meant to sub to ps+ when i heard this was gonna be available for free along with all the other discounts this month but forgot to get around to it, GUTTED LAA !!
XBLA is charging ten bucks for it. As much fun as it is, I don't think such a short game with fairly limited replay value is worth the price tag. I played the demo for the sake of reminiscing and breezed through it in a little over five minutes. My record for beating the full game at the arcade is about 45 minutes (single player) which means that at that rate, the game can be beaten with each character in roughly three hours.
I want it, just not enough to pay that much for it.
