De-Ting's Choice: 100th Haiku Fridays Tingy Award Goes to...

Posted on Thursday, July 28 @ 11:17:03 Eastern by De-Ting

A winner is Sammo. If you can't accept a Steam copy of Monkey Island, let me know and I'll notify the runners-up.

I'd like to thank all of the participants for their hard work, including but not limited to the maggots that have beaten me out of any prize I really wanted to win. Con-frag-ulations poetic demons.

I have won a good share of the contests myself, and I can say, there isn't a more entertaining way to win awesome games and gaming-related prizes present anywhere on the Internet. In fact, how often do you get rewarded for writing poetry? Well at GR, it happens (almost) every week. You've got to hand it to the staff here, 'cause being able to bring you the latest in gaming news and reviews while supporting and rewarding their members is no easy task, but they manage to do it all with pride, enthusiasm, and no lack of honesty.

I look forward to future contests, and to reading the brilliant haikus everyone can think up.
