Don't Freak Out, the PlayStation Network is Down...

Posted on Thursday, August 11 @ 08:10:01 Eastern by

Whenever the PlayStation Network is down, even if only for a few minutes, people freak out. I can't blame them, after hackers intruded upon Sony's PSN servers and took the network down for over a month. And all work and no PlayStation Network makes gamers dull (and angry) boys. The constant fear is enough to drive you insane.

This time, you can chillax - it's not hackers, it's just normal scheduled maintenance. The PlayStation Network will go offline at 11AM EST/8AM PDT for a total of 11 hours.

And no, this isn't because something super cool is on the way; this just happens from time to time, though I wouldn't mind being totally surprised with an updated PlayStation Store or something equally as awesome.

Not sure what to do without the PlayStation Network? I suggest going outside and getting some fresh air. Summer is almost over.

Now be honest people that live in western Washington only experience two seasons. The rainy season, and the not as rainy season.

Outside, I can’t go out there, the NPC’s are really weird and I think some of them have broken AI.

Outside doesnt work. Punched a tree till my hand bled and not a single wood block came out. Threw a multi colored ball at a dog and he didnt shrink and disappear into said ball, he just bit my shin. Walked in front of a car, stopped it, walked to the drivers door to steal it and they just used their door lock and sped off. Jumped on a turtle and he didnt retract into his shell and zoom off, just kinda crunched and smooshed out like a tube of toothpaste. Ill go outside again when they get these mistakes patched.
