Grid 2 surprised me. I was going through the motions, getting used to the cars and their handling, when suddenly something happened. I started having fun.

Undead Lab's zombie-infested action title has finally hit XBLA. Is it worth a few of your precious Microsoft Points, or should you whack it over the head with a two-by-four and continue on your merry way?

E3: PC or rather about the lack of it

E3 2013 has been very silent for me. There's tons of media, but most of it buzzes past my ears without them catching the important keyword that my ears are fine tuned to receive: "PC" or "Personal Computer". Microsoft, Sony, EA and Ubisoft have all shown their cards...

E3 First Impressions: Dead Rising 2: Off The Record

Posted on Thursday, June 16 @ 18:11:06 Eastern by Eduardo_Reboucas
Capcom had a demo set up on the E3 show floor for their latest re-release of Dead Rising 2, called Off the Record. Chuck Greene is out of the picture, with the hero from the first game, Frank West, taking his place.

There was no setup anywhere in the demo for Frank being at Fortune City instead of Chuck. As soon I pressed start, I was off running as Frank in the middle of a zombie infested mall atrium. I found a sword lying around and proceeded to cut some undead, just doing my usual "thing" when I play Dead Rising.

Off the Record plays exactly like previous games in the series. Capcom claims you'll get to take pictures as Frank like he did in the first game, but none of that was prevalent in the E3 demo. Throwing Frank into the world of Dead Rising 2 seems like a pretty minor difference, but at least it won't be a full-priced game. That should count for something.
