After all these years, and growing up with Windows 3.1, I have seen an entire evolution of computers and software. Touch screens and large resolutions were a pipe dream just 15 years ago. Now it's the norm. Going from a Packard Bell (yes, before HP) that couldn't run 3D Ultra Mini...

EA Sports NHL 15 Teaser Trailer Video Teases of Non-Teaser, Actual Trailer Coming Some Day

Posted on Monday, May 5 @ 07:13:04 PST by Heath_Hindman
When it comes to video game trailers, you can get away with actually showing less relevant info/imagery/substance with each passing year. EA Sports proves that again with its brand new NHL 15 teaser trailer, where "tease" can loosely be defined as, "play piano and talk about hockey."

This makes my head hurt because EA Sports didn't just release this little tease, it teased about the tease when it announced that something was coming on May 5th. Chalk it up to another case of countdowns not leading to anything good.

But this trailer will earn all kind of hype comments, retweets, and other such things that feed right into EA's lazy construction of a self-operated hype train. Toot toot!

Here's hoping they finally fix some of the problems that have been in the games for seven years now.

In other video game hockey news, real-life Mikael Granlund managed to score that type of goal usually limited to video games, particularly in EA's NHL titles from 1994 through about 2003. Did you see that shit?

He totally did the classic "scoring move" you'd always pull with Cliff Ronning or Alexander Mogilny back in the day. EA Sports has not announced a release date for NHL 15, but these tend to drop in September. I'm sure the company will announce a date on which the date will be announced. There are no typos in that sentence.
