What a coincidence. I only just heard about Epic Meal Time last week, when fans of the YouTube channel inundated me with crazy and disgusting stories mostly involving lots and lots of bacon. And here we have a Gears of War-themed episode where they make a real-life meat shield. God. Damn.

Why should I get off the Internet!? It's one of the most powerful tools to raise awareness and the easiest way to contribute to good causes by donations.

But you're right this is the wrong place to start discussions about real life issues that would rain down on the fun parade that is gaming!

I guess it's true,"Where ignorance is bliss, 'tis folly to be wise. "!

For everyone else google Oxfam for more information on the food crisis in East Africa and ways to donate. A trustworthy charity I can recommend personally because I researched them myself before I donated to them over the last few months is Save the Children - Emergency Relief Funds. They help children in Africa, the United States and all around the world.
