Not even the power of Neil Gaiman and The Odd Gentlemen could save this game from a fate worse than death: a terrible score.

For Obsidian's crowdfunded love letter to Infinity Engine games like Icewind Dale and Baldur's Gate, I was impressed by its willingness to pull back the curtain and let me see the machinery behind it.

As usual, Sony's got a massive booth, though Sega, Microsoft, Namco Bandai, Square Enix, Gree, and others are gearing up for large-scale showings of their own.

That stuff in Hall 9 is only open on the public days, which means I won't be there. Yeah I'm not doing that. I'm only attending on the media days.

Be sure to send any TGS-centric podcast questions to podcast@gamerevolution.com.

Do you have complaints about Heath Hindman's TGS coverage? Send your carefully worded scorn to daniel@gamerevolution.com.
