REVIEWSGRiD 2 Review
Grid 2 surprised me. I was going through the motions, getting used to the cars and their handling, when suddenly something happened. I started having fun.
State of Decay Review
Undead Lab's zombie-infested action title has finally hit XBLA. Is it worth a few of your precious Microsoft Points, or should you whack it over the head with a two-by-four and continue on your merry way?
LATEST FEATURESXbox One Controller Hands-On
The more time I spend with the Xbox One's controller, the more subtle yet meaningful improvements reveal themselves.
E3 2013 has been very silent for me. There's tons of media, but most of it buzzes past my ears without them catching the important keyword that my ears are fine tuned to receive: "PC" or "Personal Computer". Microsoft, Sony, EA and Ubisoft have all shown their cards...

For some reason, Nick's comments on TWD bothered me. Not that the game should be off-limits from criticism, but I think Nick has shown himself time and again to be the type of gamer who is constantly striving for the "perfect" playthrough. There's nothing wrong with that, that's just the way he likes to play
I am also one of those gamers who likes to get a "perfect" playthrough, but I don't mind at all that it doesn't really work with The Walking Dead. My biggest complaint about the game is that the gameplay isn't compelling/entertaining enough to make me want to play through the game again while making different decisions. There's a great story and a lot of big decisions to make in that game, but I'll never know the other side of them because I can't imagine myself playing through it again.
Also an excellent point. After the beginning of episode 3, I gave up on trying to control the narrative in any way. Episode 4 certainly helped reinforce this.
Yeah I don't want to play through it twice. I'm kind of happy that it doesn't even encourage that in any way (achievements or new game plus or whatever). You experience it the one way and that's your Lee forever.
Good Podcast. Ive only finished the walking dead twice but Ill admit I do wish the choices mattered just a bit more. Seems like most games that promise decisions and choices still have the ending mostly the same and your decisions not really mattering that much(*Cough* mass effect)
My favorite gift from Christmas was BW3 sauce. Thai Curry is amazing. My worst gift was trips to the dentist.
Daniel you haven't seen a single episode of Dr Who? WTF? I mean Ive only been watching since they rebooted the series in 2005 but it is for sure worth a watch.
Another great episode, happy to have the podcast back even if the break wasn't really all that long. Also love the new intro music if nothing else for Portal 'Still Alive' at the start.
