Posted on Tuesday, December 6 @ 13:35:16 Eastern by

We've been talking about Skyrim quite a bit, especially thanks to the fact that the three of us have been playing it... a lot. Regardless, we want to know what's happening in your world, dragonborn!

Use the comments below, or this forum thread, to ask us a question about gaming, our game of the year picks, or just to tell us about something awesome that happened in your version of Skyrim. Then we'll get you on the air during tomorrow's recording of GameRevolution Radio!

I have to say my favorite moment so far in Skyrim was during the quest to assassinate the emperor for the Dark Brotherhood. I'm on board the emperor's ship dropping his guards from range when a blood dragon flies by and engulfs me and the ship in flames. I bail to the nearest shore for more space to move and to find better cover. I force the dragon to the ground with a couple of arrows, but I'm in dire straits with a sliver of health, no magic, and no potions to speak of. As if called by Sithis himself Shadowmere gallops to my aid, looks eye to eye with dragon, whinnies, and then promptly stomps the dragon's ass into dust. I now let Shadowmere tank every single dragon I fight.

Also in terms of criteria for game of the year will Skyrim's bugs harm it's chances a great deal? The majority of them are funny (I'm still trying to down the backwards flying dragon), but several times I have had to actually unplug my X-box to get it back in working order. I ask because while there are a bunch of great games that came out this year, Skyrim has rendered them all meaningless to me despite it's bugs.

I enjoy the bugs as well. As far as the awards go, we're weighing all options. Look for the awards to kick off soon.

Not all of them are funny, some greatly effect gameplay and I got hit with more than a few of them. For that reason alone it should not be game of the year.

Don't get me wrong, I love the game (130 hrs and counting) but too many bug, glitches, and other little flaws for goty. Look at a title like Batman, that I think was executed almost flawlessly. That is goty material to me.

As for a funny story...I just found a cave full of snow and ice and frost trolls. In the cave is a little alcove with part of a skeleton frozen in the ceiling hanging upside down with the rest of the remains on the floor with a sword laying alongside them. I could not help but think they were recreating the scene from empire strike back with their own little twist on it. Thought it was pretty funny.

C_Nate I would have to agree with you. It's just no game in recent memory has sucked away so much time from my life like Skyrim, although to be fair I had to sit down and finish Batman AC in one playthrough because I couldn't wait to see what happend next.

Okay, I know I'm going against the grain with this one, but could you guys talk/post something other than Skyrim related stuff? Do the Skyrim edition of GR Radio, get it out of your system, but please move on. If anything, so much talk about Skyrim is making me less interested in it, almost to the point where I'm getting sick of hearing about Skyrim. End rant.

You know, I'm kind of in the same camp. Much of the Internet hive-mind is playing Skyrim so it makes sense that a lot of content is ou there as well. Regardless I'll say that I'm going to continue to push for non-Skyrim content on the site, although my Let's Play series will continue as scheduled.

It's true that Skyrim related news is saturating gaming websites (even my facebook news feed is not safe from the "I took an arrow to the knee" meme), but I know for a fact that once I started up Skyrim I could not pry myself away from it for any other game. Thankfully I knocked out Batman AC and a few other new releases so I'm aware of the quality of games this year, but I think I can speak for most folks in saying that there's just so much **** to do in the game that it's hard to do anything else for a while.

I was having a hell of a time fighting my first Dragon Priest and Dragon when I was still pretty low level. What ended up happening after the first few tries is I got a sneak attack on the sleeping dragon with a frenzy poisoned arrow. The dragon promptly pounced down on the Dragon Priest whom normally protects the dragon and the Dragon Priest obliterated the dragon for me. That made me laugh as I was absorbing it's soul.

Explain to my the full connection between Playstation Lifestyle and GR. I know the Sev connection. Are you owned by the same company, what writers cross over (I'll be honest I haven't really looked at the site), etc.

Are you gonna put Skyrim and Dark Souls in opposite bracket trees so that they only meet (if they both beat everyone) at the final Game of the Year Showdown Round?

Do you think Bethesda should look into making some sort of TES MMO?

MMOs are notoriously buggy at launch. Bethesda games are notoriously buggy at launch. It would be an astounding level of buggy-ness.

my lowly sneak thief was walking along minding his own business and out of nowhere a giant one hits me. I reload and go off looking for this giant and find him with one of his buddies and a pet mammoth. I decide that my dagger with its 15x sneak damage can take this miserable bastardo... Not so much... I ran like a little girl all the way back to Whiterun
