DAILY MANIFESTOGet Behind The Wheel With GameRevolution For NFS: Most WantedPosted on Thursday, October 4 @ 20:58:56 Eastern by Daniel Bischoff
I have to say that I'm quite surprised by how different each Porsche felt. When we saw them all lined up, I don't think anyone based their first choice on anything beyond "the red one," but by the end of track-time, I had established favorites based on acceleration and handling. In fact, as our confidence began to rise, I started holding my foot down until the final critical feet ahead of a turn. Over the Laguna Seca corkscrew, I got frustrated with myself at the way I couldn't push the vehicle faster. With a little more track time and an open road ahead of me, I'm sure I could have hit the 150/kmh. We'll be back tomorrow with the final video from our visit to the Porsche factory in Leipzig. Alex and I will ride in the passenger seat as two professional drivers whip around the track and generally cut each other off at high speeds while drifting around each turn. Our full preview of Need For Speed: Most Wanted will be ready for speed reading on October 14th. Don't forget to check out our trip to Germany, posted yesterday. Comments
